Today's poem is a fake Emily Dickinson poem. Or not a fake. Let's say an homage. And let's say it very ponderously and pretentiously. An hommaaaaaaaage.
See, I avoid reading the work of Emily Dickinson, because I find her cadence contagious, but I spent some time reading this essay about a professor who teaches her poems, and well, I caught it. Feh. The Amherst Flu.
In the great Dickinsonian tradition, I've given it no title.
